The documentation for the magnetometer says that is can be calibrated for up to 127 degrees, but it was fairly simple to ream out the mounting holes to allow for that.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the modified bracket which compensates for the alignment.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.velocity-xl.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/2013-11-16-IMG_20131116_151503_059.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1518\" alt=\"2013-11-16 IMG_20131116_151503_059\" src=\"https:\/\/www.velocity-xl.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/2013-11-16-IMG_20131116_151503_059-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To get the front-to-rear and side-to-side level, I put in the bracket with just the bottom plate. I used a level to determine how far out it was.
